Both have been upgraded to the fastest CPUs available for this server, the Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2697 v2 @ 2.70GHz. Each server has dual CPUs.

Both have redundant 750W power supplies. I have two of the power supplies removed in the picture just to avoid the warning message when it boots up that a power supply is unplugged.

Each has a Smart Array P420i RAID controller with 2GB memory.

Each has 4 integrated gigabit ethernet cards.

The first is a 25 bay small form factor (SFF) server with 24x16GB 1333 MT/s memory modules (384GB).
It has 25 Seagate ST900MM0 900MB 10,000 RPM SAS drives. It's VERY fast. I used it as a virtualization server.

The second is an 8 bay large for factor (LFF) server with 8x8GB 1600 MT/s memory modules (64GB).
It has two HP MB2000FAMYV 2TB SAS drives and one Seagate ST4000NM0034 4TB SAS drive.
It's also very fast. I used it as a storage server for my home lab.

I have updated all the firmware to the latest versions. I have a copy of the ISO file you use to update the server.

The iLO software IS licensed. You do not need to buy a license to get advanced functionality.

I have installed a fresh installation of Fedora Server (Linux).

Information about each server is below. I am posting the CPU infromation, disk wear information, the output of dmidecode, the memory information, and the PCI devices. Note that the disks all have ZERO uncorrected errors. They should last for years and years. I do have some extra drive trays for the LFF server. I do not have extras drive trays for the SFF server, sorry. They're available at nominal cost from eBay and used hardware places online.
